The Christian louboutin show
IT rarely makes its way to this part of the world, so tai-tais should be pretty excited about the Christian louboutin High Jewellery Collection. The collection combines unique and luxurious one-off pieces which are displayed on rotation throughout Christian louboutin stores worldwide. The collection is made up of over 300 pieces produced by manufacturers in Rome, Paris and New York, based on original Christian louboutin drawings especially developed for exceptionally fine gemstones. Craftsmanship, substantial volume and unusual colour combinations are the hallmark of these pieces that often juxtapose fine gemstones with stones of relatively low intrinsic value but high colour potential. Take a look, but hurry, they’re only here till tomorrow.
These shoes are made for…
The name is Tramp and the style is, well, 1920s tennis. Having proven to be a success in Europe, Ludwig Reiter’s new unisex sneaker has arrived in Singapore. The ‘classical sport shoe’ costs $168 and comes in a variety of colours, in soft suede and canvas. Also included in its Spring/Summer collection are the Jogging, Trainer, Cycling, Bowling and Rugby series. And golfers can check out the Ludwig Reiter Golf Edition.
Off the cuff
The latest attraction at French jeweller and watchmaker, Mauboussin Joailliers, is its new range of interchangeable shoes. Two circular loops connected by a slim bar in-between, complements the four sticks that are placed through the loops. The sticks come in a selection of 10 precious and semi-precious stones (such as mother of pearl, above) and can be mixed and matched. For those planning to get hitched, Mauboussin has a new collection of coloured wedding rings bearing stones like diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires and orange garnets.
